CBSE NEET Results 2017: Check All India Quota Online Counselling Schedule Here

The all India counselling process will start on July 3 and CBSE NEET results will be used for admissions into approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS in 470 medical colleges and nearly 25,730 BDS seats in 308 Dental colleges across the country.



NEW DELHI:  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results 2017 on yesterday. The all India counselling process will start on July 3 and CBSE NEET results will be used for admissions into approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS in 470 medical colleges and nearly 25,730 BDS seats in 308 Dental colleges across the country. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India will conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats as it was done in previous years.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has constituted a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for conducting Counselling for the admissions into this 15% all India quota seats.

The online process will be done on MCC official website, mcc.nic.in.

Online Counselling shall be conducted on the basis of NEET UG Result 2016 declared by the CBSE, New Delhi.

The counselling schedule of NEET for 15% All India Quota is given below:

NEET Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure will be organized in two rounds. The procedure of NEET online counselling is mentioned below:
Online Registration: To participate in NEET counselling, the candidate has to register themselves by filling their basic details. Without registration, candidates will not able to participate in the counselling procedure. After registration, candidates will get a unique USER ID & PASSWORD in registered email Id & mobile number. Candidates have to register with the given user id & password for further procedure.
Choice Filling & Locking: Now, candidates have to select the medical/dental colleges & courses as per their preference. After final selection, candidates have to click on “Save” button & lock their choices. It is necessary to lock the choices.
Result Declaration: Candidates will receive a SMS or email related to the allotted course & colleges after a few days of the counselling process. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank & opted choice of colleges.
Reporting to the Allotted College: After result announcement, candidates have to report in the allotted college and confirm their seat by paying the course fee. In case, the candidate failed to report in the allotted college at the given time frame the seats will be given to the next candidate.
