JoSAA 2017 Results - Second Round of Allotment Declared at josaa.nic.in

According to a list published on the official website, JoSAA declared that there are 6,799 seats vacant in the institutes in its purview including 46 vacant seats in IIT-Kharagpur, 25 in IIT-Delhi, 19 in IIT-Madras and 14 in IIT-Bombay.



The Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2017 has declared the second round of allotment of seats in 97 institutes across India including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) for the academic year 2017-18. According to a list published on its official website, JoSAA declared that there are 6,799 seats vacant in the institutes in its purview including 46 vacant seats in IIT-Kharagpur, 25 in IIT-Delhi, 19 in IIT-Madras and 14 in IIT-Bombay.

What’s ahead if you have Qualified in the JoSAA 2017 Second Allotment Results?

The qualified students can further accept the allotment by paying the acceptance fee and depositing the requisite documents. The candidates can choose to participate in the next round by selecting Freeze, Slide or Float against their aspired course. If in a subsequent round a candidate’s allotment changes from NIT+ system to IIT then he has to report it to the IIT reporting centre and if it changes from NIT+ from IIT, then he’ll have to report it to the NIT+ reporting centre. For withdrawals, the candidate must visit the reporting centre and intimate before the seventh round of allotment is over.
