What will be the best option for those PA's who's MACP-I promotion is due on 18.05.2016? Pl.post with similar illustration.current basic pay as on 01.01.2016 is 12970(5200-20200+2400).
whether option can be given to a later date from 1.7.2016 if one get MACP promotion after 1.7.2016
What will be the calculation procedure if an official got second financial upgration under MACP w.e.f.9th August,2016. Because, there is no scope of submitting option as per the 7th CPC notification.
As per Revised pay rules 2016 sl no 5 Explanation 1.- The option to retain the existing pay structure under the provisos to this rule shall be
admissible only in respect of one existing Pay Bandand Grade Pay or scale.
Hence promotional benefits should be fixed in revised pay only??? and Difference in grad pay and pay band can not be added in the existing pay scale.So it is once again look in the explanation 1 pl
The explanation 1 relating to retaining of existing pay structure in only one existing pay band and grade pay is applicable in the cases of officials who got more than one promotion in between from 1.1.2016 to 25.7.2016(i.e. notification date) and wants to retain existing pay structure. This point is clarified at Memorandum explanatory of CCS(RP) rules as mentioned in Page 36 of Gazette Notification dated 25.7.2016. The explanation 1 below Rule 5 is to be read in conjunction with Rule 11 as well as Memorandum explanatory of CCS(RP) Rules, 2016. The explanation 1 below Rule 5 is not applicable for the option exercised according to the 1st proviso of Rule 5. The definition of existing pay structure as defined in Rule 3(iv) is also to be read in conjunction with 1st proviso below Rule 5 and memorandum explanatory of CCS(RP) Rules at page 36 of notification.
Sir, please see example (b). I think DNI would be 1-1-2017 and not 1-7-2017. as the 7th CPC, officials can opt to Jan- increment if they are promoted, got upgradation between 2nd Jan to 1st July (both dates inclusive).
Is there any clarification from govt side regarding the exercise of option from wef 01.07.16 for the employees who got Promotion/MACP/Upgradation between 01.01.16 to 30.06.16? I got promotion on 11.01.2016. Which option is beneficial for my pay fixation in 7th cpc? Options are i) From 01.01.2016 ii) From Date of Promotion i.e. 11.01.2016 and iii) From Date of Next Increment i.e. 01.07.2016.

Training period is counted for service and Increment. Whether the traing period is counted for MACP ? This may be clarified.
